I’m glad I found this tutorial! I’ve been making snowman with stick arms out of clay, and they keep breaking off! Now I’m glad I found a way I can do it where I can still give them arms, but they are not going to snap off. Like I barely touch them and they break. I want to give them as gifts but I don’t want to give something to somebody that’s just going to break. These little guys are too cute.

This is a lovely video. Easy to follow. I’ve heard of Cirnet polymer clay; I’ve heard it’s better than Sculpey? However, it’s not as easy to get in US. I’m newer to this art medium. Trying to learn everything I can.

If you're making a large piece -- like a candle holder or a small vase, for instance -- you can cut very thin slices and lay them out randomly (or in a pattern) on a plain polymer clay background and roll them into that background. In fact, you can use different sizes, too, to add another point of interest to it.

Can I ask what thickness they should be rolled to, I don't currently have a pasta machine as don't want to get one till I'm amlittle more experienced etc, and can I use anything knife like to cut them and a normal rolling pin, or does it need to be glass or acrylic? Thanks Clare x

That is so adorable and live how it's simple- looking to either put a bunch of little ones on one bead, or keep karge- great for that thank you; i also love how you have many variations to spark my inspiration- the pendants i made once are blended- so i will try blended petals (if i can figure it out lol)
